Centre for the Study of the Middle Ages

Description

The Centre is a focus for conferences and other national and international research events. It co-ordinates research projects which involve collaboration between members of the centre and with other UK and international partners.

It also hosts an annual public lecture.  Other speakers have included Professor Miri Rubin, Professor James Graham Campbell,  Professor Martin Carver and PRofessor Jonathan Riley-Smith.

CeSMA hosts an interdisciplinary research seminar series throughout the academic year, alongside the informal Conversations series, dedicated to the discussion of issues relating to the interdisciplinary study of medieval literature, history and culture. Information about the Centre’s activity is provided via our website and mailing list.
