Thanzi Programme

Description

The Thanzi Programme is a community of researchers, policy-makers, students and research support professionals, who deliver research designed to inform and improve resource allocation and financing of health in the West and East, Central and Southern Africa regions.

Our work is characterised by employing three interrelated pillars of activity:

  1. Excellent quality, novel, and locally relevant evidence generation
  2. Capability and capacity building in areas of health economics and health systems modelling
  3. Research-and-policy engagement with national-level ministries of health and finance planning departments, as well as mandated regional organisations
