Cemetery Research Group

Description

The Cemetery Research Group website supports academics with an interest in societal responses to mortality. The website includes a fully interactive international and interdisciplinary bibliography, a list of academics working in this field, details on events and new publications. The site also supports UK historians who want to study the history of cemeteries, burial grounds, churchyards and crematoria in their area. The Cemetery Research Group runs two events a year: an in-person Colloquium at the University of York, and an online Virtual Colloquium.
