Society and Learning Research Priority Area

Description

Society and Learning is a broad Research Priority Area (RPA), encompassing nearly 100 staff in teams across three Schools: Education and Teacher Training; Social Sciences, including Sociology, Criminology, and Policing; and Social Work. Across its subjects, the Research Priority Areas (RPA) works to create an environment that supports innovative and impactful research and to build links to support the staff in achieving this. As areas that are inherently about working with people and communities, much of the work focuses on the ways in which research can have meaningful impact on communities, policies, and practice.
