Centre for Modern Conflicts and Cultures

Description

The Centre for Modern Conflicts and Cultures brings together expertise from researchers across Durham University in order to investigate how intellectuals, writers and artists have engaged with or participated in the major geopolitical and ideological conflicts of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Centre was formed in 2015, with founding members drawn from the departments and schools in Durham's Faculty of Arts and Humanities, including English Studies, History, Modern Languages and Cultures, and Theology and Religion.
