Sussex-Mahidol Migration Partnership (SMMP)

Description

The Sussex-Mahidol Migration Partnership (SMMP) aims to develop new research on migration flows between Europe and South East Asia with a focus on retirement, marriage and cultural interaction. The partnership's approach is interdisciplinary within the social sciences and draws on sociology, politics, demography, human geography, development and wellbeing. As well as generating exchanges between researchers, the partnership aims to build a new research capacity between the regions to conduct research projects on the important issues that link them.
