Art Network North East

Description

Art Network North East is an advocacy and development organisation for the visual arts, working with individuals and organisations across the region to support existing activity, effect change where it’s needed, and raise the profile of the North East nationally. 

We do this by providing information for the sector and public; supporting individual practitioners and art institutions; and developing and delivering resources, events and projects. We work with the sector to identify and tackle opportunities together.

Our website lists exhibitions and events across the region alongside directories of artists and organisations, opportunities, and interviews, articles and new writing. Our micro-bursaries partnership project the North East Artists' Fund supports individual practitioners, and we run and support artist forums, provide one-to-one advice and mentoring.
