CAMERA offers Virtual Production, Motion Capture, Volumetric Caputre and Photogrammetry services. The studio and technical team are available for research projects, R&D and commercial services.

The Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research and Applications (CAMERA) has been funded by the EPSRC and the University of Bath. It exists to accelerate the impact of fundamental research being undertaken at the University in the Departments of Computer Science, Health and Psychology. CAMERA performs world-leading research in Intelligent Visual and Interactive Technology, underpinned by academic and partner expertise across both core EPSRC research disciplines – Computer Vision, Graphics, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and AI – as well expertise in healthcare, rehabilitation, biomechanics, musculoskeletal modelling, sports performance, and psychology.

Publications listed on the centre's own research page include applied deep learning work, such as a study on the application of deep learning based pose estimation methods for clinical gait outcome measures and another on using computer vision and deep learning methods to capture skeleton push start performance. Further listed outputs concern neural networks and generative models, among them an analysis of training data leakage from gradients in neural networks for image classification, a study of quadruped embodiment using neural networks, and research on regularising inverse problems with generative machine learning models. A talk announcement published in the centre's expert speaker series likewise notes that machine learning has transformed computer vision, with success driven by the availability of very large labelled datasets, advances in the training and architecture of deep neural networks, and developments in GPU hardware.
