Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis Research Group (IPARG)

Description

IPARG is a group of academics, researchers and doctoral students at Birkbeck who employ interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) to explore a wide range of topics in lived experience. Examples of research questions being addressed: how do patients experience treatment for HIV? how do people perceive art? How do people with Parkinson’s disease make sense of what is happening to them? The group usually meets fortnightly to share data analysis, read scholarly papers and discuss research issues arising.
