Women in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin-American Studies (WISPS)

WISPS serves as a wide network for Irish and British female academics and students working in fields such as feminist theory, gender studies, history, cultural memory, literature, cultural and textual theory, audio and film studies, performance studies, politics, anthropology, geography, queer theory, and theatre studies, within Luso-Hispanic cultures. WISPS organises annual conferences in Ireland and the UK where participants discuss their findings in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
