Development Alternatives Network
Description
Development Alternatives represents a global network of artists, scholars, and activists investigating the potential role of arts in extending civic space, political imagination, and alternative developmental models. The network, primarily based in the UK, Bangladesh, and Uganda, has an online platform serving as a repository of collaborative projects, research, and artistic responses created since 2016. Directed from the Centre for Applied Human Rights at the University of York, it encourages open discussions about creative activism and political imagination through arts-based research and production.
