The Leeds Arts and Humanities Research Institute (LAHRI) creates opportunities for collaborative, inclusive, interdisciplinary working for researchers at every career stage. LAHRI sets out to:

  • Support, develop and celebrate researchers and their ideas, enabling them to amplify and realise their ambitions.
  • Generate and facilitate new collaborations, and sustain existing relationships, connecting individuals and groups across the full range of academic disciplines.
  • Identify and share prospects for research development, responding to opportunities as they emerge.
  • Foster and preserve a culture of inclusive partnership working, engaging with research communities and partners to make a difference.
  • Secure and distribute funding to support research development, selecting projects and collaborations with the potential to thrive.
