Description

Established in 1997 with an initial fund exceeding £4.3m from the Economic and Social Research Council, the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation (CSGR) is an interdisciplinary research centre housed within the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. CSGR explores the changing dynamics of global order and disorder, aiming to produce innovative research that informs policy discussions and enhances public understanding of worldwide and regional issues.

Their core research themes encompass:

  • Globalisation and regionalisation
  • Global governance and global order

CSGR researchers have been instrumental in coordinating research for the Warwick Commission on the Multilateral Trade Regime and the Warwick Commission on International Financial Reform.
