Centre for Studies in Democratisation (CSD)

Description

The Centre for Studies in Democratisation (CSD) at Warwick University serves as a vibrant platform for researchers exploring aspects of democracy or democratisation. Embracing a multitude of methodologies, it supports theoretical, empirical, comparative, postcolonial, normative, feminist, critical, institutional, regional, and international perspectives. As one of the five primary research centres within Warwick's Politics and International Studies, CSD strives to stimulate debate and enhance research on democracy-related themes. Alongside current and prospective activities, it offers seminars, work-in-progress discussions, guest lectures, and planning for research funding. The CSD is also creating a podcast series. All Warwick researchers are encouraged to partake in CSD activities.
