History of Science and Technology Hub

Description

The Department of History boasts considerable expertise in the history of science and technology, encompassing a broad spectrum of disciplines ranging from physics to anthropology to economics, inclusive of associated technologies. This department is characterised by its unique teaching and research, intertwining the evolution of scientific theories with broader historical events such as warfare, religion, globalisation, social transformation, ideological shifts, and the ascension and decline of states and empires. This work is synchronised with several projects within the Department of History and connected to other research centres at Warwick, spanning sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The Hub serves as a gateway to individuals, teaching, research, and events tied to the history of science and technology at Warwick.
