Air Quality Management Resource Centre (AQMRC)
Description
The Air Quality Management Resource Centre (AQMRC) provides advice, research, and consultancy in the domains of air quality and carbon management. For over two decades, the AQMRC has consistently pursued extensive research in these areas.
The founding director's expertise in Air Quality Management was pivotal in securing a national contract for UWE Bristol to aid the UK Local Air Quality Management (LAQM) process, leading to the establishment of the AQMRC. The centre functions at the nexus of science, people and policy, aligning research with practical applications.
Since its inception, the AQMRC has offered air quality and carbon management support to local, national, and international stakeholders through both research and consultancy projects. This approach fosters a cycle of knowledge exchange and capacity enhancement, whereby practical experience informs further research, and research findings, in turn, guide technical and policy practitioners.
Through years of delivering high-quality research and consultancy, the Centre has earned an international reputation for its robust, often innovative, scientific, technical, and policy support. The AQMRC is always open to dialogue on new projects and collaboration opportunities.
