Centre for Contemporary Poetry

Description

The Centre for Contemporary Poetry is a collaborative, cross-institutional research centre. It is a critical-creative grouping devoted to the interests of poets, poetry critics, poets who are also critics, and critics who are also poets. The Centre for Contemporary Poetry has a special, though not exclusive, interest in investigating experimental and performance poetries and their poetics.

The Centre aims to develop knowledge about contemporary poetic practices, about the interface between the word and the visual, and to examine differences in practice between experimental and traditional poetic forms.
