Y Lab

Description

Y Lab is a group of social scientists, academics and innovation experts who care about good public services for everyone.

The Lab works to support public service innovators in Wales with funding, expertise and guidance to experiment and test their ideas.

It researches the hows and whys of public service innovation in Wales and around the world, helping to spread good ideas.

The Lab works with organisations to explore and evaluate, creating better public services for everyone.

It combines research excellence from Cardiff University with innovation expertise from the lab's partners. Its projects include Innovate to Save, Arts and Health, gathering public service innovation case studies from Wales and the Digital Innovation Fund. In addition, it runs funded programmes of support, publish research and hold events.
