Centre for Interdisciplinary Sustainable Practices of Research in Energy (C-INSPRE)
Description
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Sustainable Practices of Research in Energy (C-INSPRE) was established in 2019 by a team of multidisciplinary energy research experts. Its mission is to offer comprehensive postgraduate training in energy science, technology, and policy. The centre encourages doctoral students from diverse disciplines to understand various perspectives on energy issues and to develop interdisciplinary strategies to address them. C-INSPRE collaborates with all four faculties at the University of Strathclyde to create a well-rounded curriculum. This education equips graduates with the ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of professionals and stakeholders, and to apply knowledge from various contexts towards achieving practical solutions.
The research agenda of C-INSPRE is expansive, encompassing fields such as green energy economics, materials science, energy policy, and the social aspects of interdisciplinary work in numerous energy-related areas.
