Centre for Energy Policy (CEP)
Description
The Centre for Energy Policy (CEP) at the University of Strathclyde is dedicated to partnering with research institutions, governmental bodies, and industries to address the critical public policy issue of achieving sustainable and equitable prosperity through transitioning to net zero targets by mid-century.
Since its inception in 2015, the CEP has earned a robust reputation for its independent, rigorous, and multidisciplinary research. Its timely and responsive knowledge exchange and policy engagement on energy and climate issues within a broad public policy framework has proven to be impactful. The Centre has contributed to shaping both UK and Scottish Government policies in areas such as energy efficiency, industrial decarbonisation, heat decarbonisation, and low carbon transport.
