The Future Cities Institute is a multifaceted research entity within the globally recognised University of Strathclyde. The institute partners with various commercial, civic, and academic entities across the globe. Its aim is to comprehend more effectively the challenges that cities encounter as living and working spaces, and to further unlock their potential, thus enhancing the quality of life for their inhabitants.
The Institute is renowned for its swift and flexible response to the fluctuating needs of cities, promoting social progression and inclusive urban development. Under the guidance of Richard Bellingham and Robert Rogerson, the Institute amalgamates expertise from a broad spectrum of disciplines across Strathclyde University and other global institutions.
