Centre for the Study of Human Rights Law (CSHRL)
Description
The Centre for the Study of Human Rights Law (CSHRL), established in 2008, serves as a hub for research and education in human rights law. It is the sole academic human rights law centre in Scotland, operating within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Comprising a team of academics, it offers expertise in research, teaching, practice, and public engagement in human rights law. Since its inception, the CSHRL's goal has been to probe the role and influence of human rights law in various legal and public policy areas, domestically and globally. It covers a wide spectrum, from immigration law to biodiversity management.
