Eighteenth Century Studies Research Group (ECS)
Description
The Eighteenth Century Studies group at Stirling was founded in 2017. The group is an interdisciplinary community of Eighteenth Century scholars with diverse interests across the Long Eighteenth Century. The members' aim is to promote research, publication and education in eighteenth-century studies, especially across the disciplinary boundaries of Literature and History.
The group runs an annual Writing Retreat, and monthly meetings of the Eighteenth-Century Writing Group, at which members of the group and external speakers present their work in progress.
