Digital Curation Centre (DCC)
Description
The Digital Curation Centre (DCC) is a world-leading source of expertise in digital information curation with a focus on building capacity, capability and skills for open research and research data management.
The DCC provides expert advice and practical help on how to store, manage, protect and share digital research data. The Centre provides a broad range of resources including online tools, guidance and training. It provides consultancy services (on issues such as policy development and data management planning) and bespoke training. It runs the annual International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) and is a founding organisational member of the Research Data Alliance.
The DCC is a consortium managed from the University of Edinburgh. Services are targeted primarily at research-performing organisations around the world, but its resources are of benefit to the commercial sector too.
