Centre for New Music at Sheffield (CeNMaS)

Description

The Centre for New Music (CeNMaS) is based within the Music Department of the University of Sheffield. It serves as the hub for a variety of activities, such as concerts, lectures, residencies, symposia, and festivals, held throughout the academic year. These include the University of Sheffield Sound Studios (USSS), the Sheffield University New Music Ensemble, and the Sound Laboratory Concerts Series. The Centre also offers a platform for composers, performers, and audiences to exchange ideas and information. The 2017-2018 season culminated with the Sound Agendas Composers’ Conference held from 27th to 29th April 2018, with an open invitation extended to all composers.
