Libraries and information society research group

Description

The "Libraries and Information Society Research Group" focuses on six interconnected themes that address crucial aspects of the library and information sector. These themes include information literacy and behaviour in various contexts, engagement with reading and literature, the development of library strategies and policies, social justice and political engagement in Library and Information Science (LIS), education and professional development in the library and information field, and the roles, competencies, and professional identities of library, information, and knowledge workers. This research is informed and enhanced through engagement with the library and information profession both nationally and internationally.
