History and Heritage in East Asia

Description

The "History and Heritage in East Asia" cluster unites individuals from the School of East Asian Studies (SEAS) and beyond, all of whom engage with the historical and contemporary aspects of East Asia.

Specifically, the cluster includes historians focused on China, Japan, Korea and the broader East Asian region from SEAS and other parts of the university. Moreover, the group involves individuals who study the interpretation, dispute and engagement with the past. These members utilise various disciplinary frameworks such as history, critical heritage studies, cultural studies, visual arts, cinema studies, musicology, and international relations.
