Creative Spatial Practices Cluster

Description

Creative Spatial Practices aspires to pioneer artistic and technological developments in landscape practice, fostering ecological well-being and creating inspiring environments for habitation. It also aims to construct models and visualisations of historical and future landscapes. The focus is not merely on culture, arts, and technology as entertainment avenues but on their potential to effect substantial changes on both the landscape and its inhabitants.

The efforts of the Creative Spatial Practices group centre on the influence of visual and material arts, culture, and technologies in envisioning this environmental and societal landscape transformation. The group investigates the historical, contemporary, and future cultures and technologies of landscape architecture, establishing connections between studies in innovative experimental design, planning, and management practices.
