Cultures of the Cold War Network

Description

This interdisciplinary Network focuses on cultivating a platform for scholars exploring various facets of the Cold War. The term 'cultures of the Cold War' encapsulates the wide range of experiences, emotional structures, and portrayals developed by decision makers, activists, artists, writers, cultural creators, and ordinary individuals from East to West, from the Soviet Union and Asia to Europe and the United States, in reaction to the Cold War. This Network emphasises the importance of recognising the diversity of Cold War experiences to connect local and global, regional and national, as well as transnational perspectives. The collective facilitates interdisciplinary research projects, produces blogs, organises public events, hosts annual workshops, and gathers innovative educational resources. They welcome participation from those keen to contribute to the dialogue.
