Description
The research group, dedicated to innovative architectural design, is contributing to societal change and advancement. They embrace a broadened conception of design and view architects as agents of social transformation. The group's work is grounded in the institution's trailblazing practices and research concerning public participation and engagement. All projects are fortified by a solid understanding of design tools, processes, and methodologies.
Research projects undertaken by the group include:
- ProShare: A study enhancing diversity and social cohesion through shared practices in housing and public spaces.
- RE-DWELL: An initiative focusing on delivering sustainable and affordable housing in Europe.
- R-Urban: A strategy for neighbourhood regeneration based on urban commons principles.
