Architecture, Culture and Tectonics Research Group

Description

Exploring the effects of the design and layout of buildings, public realm and landscape on social and cultural interactions, and testing how such places can be made more meaningful and sustainable.

The group's research has been applied to designing exhibition spaces, analysing historical architecture, and the design of novel lightweight and deployable structures at international expos and other events.

Projects span a range of scales and contexts, from individual components of buildings at a local level, through to large scale planning and management of landscapes and cities internationally.
