Manchester Environmental Research Institute

The Manchester Environmental Research Institute (MERI) brings together expertise and knowledge from various departments of The University of Manchester to tackle present-day environmental challenges. It fosters and promotes interdisciplinary research in the field by collaborating with academics from science, engineering, health, social sciences, and humanities.

Established in 2018, MERI aims to provide evidence-based solutions for the impacts of environmental change on healthcare, food security, water resources, and energy production.
