Cambridge Forum for Legal and Political Philosophy

Description

The Cambridge Forum for Legal and Political Philosophy was established as an interdisciplinary discussion/reading group focused on issues of legal and political philosophy. The activities of the Forum have expanded, and in 2001 it became a formally recognised research centre affiliated with the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law.

It is composed of faculty members and research students from the Faculties of Law, Philosophy, History, and Social and Political Sciences. Its principal purpose is to promote research, discussion, and exchanges on various topics within legal and political philosophy. In furtherance of that purpose, the Forum will be undertaking a number of projects, including a major conference every 18-24 months and a public lecture series.
