Description
As a group, the members aim to facilitate dialogue and discussion among themselves and with others regarding their research on various topics related to international politics. They act as a support group for scholars and students in various stages of their research projects, including works in progress, papers, and grant applications.
The group comprises experienced academics, early career scholars, and PhD students who use diverse methodological approaches, both quantitative and qualitative, to investigate a broad range of subjects in international politics. Some of the topics of interest include war, security, and conflict, the role of private security actors in conflicts, international interventions, inequalities and non-Western actors, nationalism and ethnicity, colonial history, and race. Additionally, the group takes a keen interest in the politics of the Middle East.
