Interdisciplinary Centre for Composition and Technology

Description

The Department of Music at the University of Liverpool hosts the Interdisciplinary Centre for Composition and Technology (ICCaT), which investigates the intersection between music composition, sonic art forms, new technology, and perception. ICCaT's research primarily focuses on two aspects: musical practice and technological resource development.

The Centre works on three primary research themes, namely Data-Driven Composition, Interactivity in A/V Composition and Performance, and Sound and Agency.
