Creatives in Intercultural Arts Network (CIAN)

Description

The Creativities in Intercultural Arts Network (CIAN) aims to promote, connect and enable the advancement of intercultural arts practice, research and policy and the reframing of intercultural creativies in education.

The network seeks to address:

  • What can be discovered and claimed about the cultural orthodoxies, issues, conflicts and debates relating to the documentation and analysis of intercultural arts practices? How can new possibilities for responding to transcultural practices and new forms of engagement with individuals, cultures and traditions be opened up?
