Cambridge Centre for Political Thought
Description
The Cambridge Centre for Political Thought is a world-leading centre for the study of the history of political thought. Many of the subject’s finest practitioners have studied and taught here. Through their research and teaching, the present generation of Cambridge scholars continually takes the subject forward in new directions, reinforced by a large and lively community of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
The Centre offers a wide range of activities in the history of political thought, political theory, and intellectual history at the University of Cambridge and beyond. These include the weekly seminar, individual lectures and conferences, and graduate and undergraduate courses.
The Centre is generously supported by the Cambridge University Press, and is administered under the aegis of the Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) and the Faculty of History.
