Business, Human Rights and the Environment Research Group
Description
The Business, Human Rights and the Environment Research Group (BHRE) was created in 2013. It brings together researchers from different disciplines, including law, criminology and business. Its core members are based at the University of Greenwich, whilst affiliated members are based all over the world.
The BHRE develops high quality, policy relevant research in a number of research areas. It also provides training and capacity building to public bodies, governments, unions and civil society organisations.
The group's research interests and units include:
- Modern Slavery, Human Rights and Public Procurement
- Human Rights Due Diligence and Transparency in Global Supply Chains
- Worker-Driven Remedy in Global Supply Chains
- Promoting Sustainable Production and Consumption
- Electronics Industry
