Arts Lab

Description

The Rts Lab supports researcher development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and partnership working across the College of Arts and other departments. It serves as a space for researchers of all career stages and provides a range of services to support them.

The lab offers a programme of workshops and peer support for research and engagement topics. The Application Development Service provides peer review and support with funding bids. Additionally, the Arts Lab aims to identify and encourage areas of shared engagement on which future research strength might be built.

The lab supports and funds a series of interdisciplinary research groups and encourages cultural and external engagement by promoting research links with other colleges and the University's museum, art, and research collections. The lab was founded in October 2009 and launched officially in February 2010. The Rts Lab is a member of the Consortium of Institutes of Advanced Studies (CIAS), UK.
