Interdisciplinary Music Industries Research Group (IMIRGe)

Description

The mission of IMIRGe is to produce world-class analytical and empirical music industries research that informs public and policy debates in Scotland, the UK, and internationally. Members also specialize in the study of popular music culture and society.

The group’s staff has a track record of leading funded research projects in dialogue with policy makers, charities and the third sector, trade bodies and the wider music industries.

They value their role as an independent voice and aim to be a highly respected source of critical analysis.
