Scottish Network of Modernist Studies

Description

The Scottish Network of Modernist Studies serves as a platform for scholarly discourse and fruitful collaboration among researchers engaged in the study of modernism across various disciplines, both within and outside of the academic realm. The Network adopts a wide-ranging and inclusive approach to the concept of modernism, encompassing diverse manifestations such as modernity, the avant-garde, the fin-de-siècle, as well as modern and contemporary legacies and historical anticipations.

All Network events will be held in Scotland, although the perspective and engagement of the Network are internationalist in nature, and membership is open to scholars from beyond Scotland.
