Automotive Transitions Studio

Description

The Automotive Transitions studio is focussed on vehicle design and studies the car as part of a wider socio-cultural context. The studio investigates new automotive design paradigms which are ecologically safe, socially just, economically inclusive, and more meaningful and enriching at personal level.

The Studio aims to:

  • Explore mobility design in sustainable, shared and autonomous contexts

  • Interrogate environmental, economic, socio-ethic, cultural and subjective issues 

  • Develop trend analysis and trend forecasting

  • Deliver design strategy and design concepts  

  • Innovate vehicle typology, architecture, aesthetics, and design language
