Description
This new and dynamic group represents digital humanities research currently being carried out in the arts and humanities at Oxford Brookes. The group’s scope is inclusive and wide-ranging, covering statistical analysis of language, stylometric analysis of authorship, research into cinema audiences and film exhibition, archiving (the digital preservation of cultural artefacts), new forms of cultural communication (social media, podcasts, immersive technologies etc.), and critical cyberculture studies, which analyses the ethical and political implications of digital technologies.
