Health Law Cluster
Description
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
The Health Law research cluster brings together academics from across the University to work on a number of health-focused topics, including mental capacity and disability, sexual and reproductive health, and legal and social determinants of health.
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, members of the Health Law cluster, alongside colleagues from other clusters, are exploring, among other topics, triage ethics, implications for the right to health, the protection of most vulnerable groups in a care-based society, and positive human rights obligations of private health providers.
