Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities

Description

The Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities is home to a variety of interdisciplinary teaching programmes.

The Institute hosts a number of other activities which cross disciplines and boundaries in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, bringing concepts to fruition. For instance, BLOC Media, East Anglian Film Archive, Publishing Project, Japanese Studies and the Digital Humanities Incubator.

By housing these diverse activities and facilities the Institute fosters conversations along interdisciplinary lines. Together the community explores the Arts and Humanities in the digital age, allowing members to consider wider, cross discipline perspectives, to gain a greater understanding of 21st century society.

This environment ensures the Institute promotes and achieves teaching excellence across all its programmes.
