Centre for Scottish Culture

Description

The Centre for Scottish Culture brings together members of the School of Humanities, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD), and other departments at the University of Dundee with interests in the literature, culture and history of Scotland and its people.

The Centre helps facilitate creative and academic collaboration among staff, students, and the wider community, and showcases its innovative work on popular culture, including film, comics and graphic novels, as well as poetry, theatre and fiction.

The Centre organizes and hosts international conferences and symposia, exhibitions, festivals, research seminars, and a wide array of academic and creative projects.

Many of the Centre’s activities consider the role of Scottish culture in a global context, and members would particularly welcome new partnerships across the world.
