Communities, Culture and Sustainability

Description

The members of the Communities, Culture and Sustainability group conduct social research across a range of topics in the Global North and the Global South. This research can be grouped into three main areas: culture, identity and consumption; sustainable communities; and transition and development.

The nature of these topics means that they often encompass both pure/conceptual and applied/action research aspects. Importantly this research also informs teaching, helping to keep the undergraduate curriculum fresh, up-to-date and engaged with contemporary social concerns.
