The Institute of Sports Humanities (ISH) focuses on improving decision-making, harnessing data analytics, understanding societal forces, decoding the signals derived from history, interrogating globalisation and, above all, honing effective judgment.

Leadership in sport today relies on studying innovative ideas across the world. Finding "an edge" (both sports performance and sports business) increasingly rests on critical and creative thinking and, in an era of ultra-specialisation, the ability to see the bigger picture.
