Centre for Transforming Sexuality and Gender
The University of Brighton's Centre for Transforming Sexuality and Gender (CTSG) brings together researchers from across the university who are working on themes related to sexuality, gender and social change with a core focus on producing research with community partners that impacts on policy and practice.
The research centre has longstanding strengths in interdisciplinary research relevant to LGBTQ Lives as well as sex, sexuality and health, digital sexualities, and emerging research around the theme of gender and citizen equality.
Many of its researchers have a shared commitment to feminist, queer theoretical approaches, using a variety of methodologies, and many have expertise in participatory, visual and creative methods.
The Centre for Transforming Sexuality and Gender promotes anti-racist and gender inclusive research practice across all disciplines.
