Birmingham Centre for Philosophy of Religion

Description

The mission of the Birmingham Centre for Philosophy of Religion is to foster excellence in teaching and research in the philosophy of religion from a global perspective.

The Centre is located in the School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion and is dedicated to promote critical thinking about the metaphysical, epistemological and moral questions concerning religious belief and practice.

The activities of the Centre include a regular seminar for staff and students, a visiting speaker programme, academic conferences, collaboration with other scholars (nationally and internationally) in developing research projects, and postgraduate teaching to nurture the next generation of philosophers of religion.
